Disorient

Promotional materials and assets for the Disorient art collective, for which I managed digital content and coordinated teams for the production of art fundraisers; resulting in the creation of new multi-faceted art projects across the country, including New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Nevada.

Original Disorient Font

Every year letters of Disorient are replaced by the number of years Disorient has been around (which coincides with the last digits of the year). As Disorient is heavy on schwag and art projects involving the logo, collaborative art exploration was limited by the need to create new static versions of the logo every year. So, I decided to create a full alphanumeric functional font based on the existing letters of the logo. One that anyone could install on their computer and use for the creation of new original artwork. The original font family included dots, pixels, and diamond versions of the font. This allowed for greater collaboration with artists using the font to create large-scale installations, wearable art outfits, web and mobile applications, flyers, webfonts, and much more.
